Hope Worldwide. Bringing Hope. Changing Lives.

Alaska Volunteer Corps

(June 8 - June 21)

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Denali, North America’s tallest peak, our program in rural Alaska offers an unforgettable experience at the Gateway to the Arctic camp, a 100-acre community hub in Talkeetna.

At this unique retreat, participants will immerse themselves in the beauty and ruggedness of rural Alaskan life while engaging with the local community with humility and a learner’s mindset. Expect to contribute to meaningful service projects, including:

  • Sustainable agriculture initiatives through hands-on farming and crop production
  • Volunteering at the local food bank
  • Helping care for champion Iditarod dog-sled puppies
  • Providing support and companionship to the local elderly community
  • And much more!

This program offers a chance to not only experience Alaska’s untamed beauty but also to grow in community service, sustainability, and leadership.

Come explore the last frontier, connect with nature, and embark on an adventure of service and personal growth!
