Experience the awe-inspiring city of La Paz, one of the "Seven Most Marvelous Cities in the World," nestled high in the Andes Mountains and renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich, vibrant culture.

Despite Bolivia's remarkable heritage and natural beauty, the country faces significant educational challenges that impact its development. With a population of 12 million, barriers like limited access to books and resources mean that only 20% of students complete university, often due to economic hardship. For over 12 years, HOPEww Bolivia has been dedicated to addressing these issues through targeted education and empowerment programs.

As a participant in this year’s HVC, you'll play an active role in HOPEww Bolivia’s impactful programs:

• B-Olivia Mobile Library: Help bring books and a love of reading to educational centers across La Paz. You’ll participate in lending books and organizing interactive reading days for local youth.
• English as a Second Language (ESL) Program: Assist young teachers with ESL training and support English courses that expand opportunities for Bolivia's next generation.
• Family Support Program: Forge meaningful connections by establishing mentoring relationships with vulnerable community members, including unhoused individuals and orphans, and those facing material hardship.
