Botswana is a beautiful country in the southern part of Africa. It is known for its gorgeous wildlife and amazing sights, yet much of the population lives in material poverty. The volunteers will engage with HOPEww programs in a rural community. They will provide support to the Early Childhood Development program, mentoring program for teenagers, women’s empowerment program, etc. For those who enjoy physical tasks, there will be such opportunities. If the volunteers have the required skills, they will also support the financial literacy program, computer classes, etc.
Those who want to extend their stay after the Volunteer Corps (or come early) can enjoy the many sightseeing and safari opportunities this beautiful country has to offer.
