HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY COMMUNITY SERVICE BRIGADES! Hard to believe, but we are approaching the 10th year celebration of the start-up of the CSB Program. The 1st CSB was conducted in January 2010 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras with a team (pictured above) of just 12 US volunteers with Walter and Lori Kotkowski, together with the Church and their awesome, hard-working HOPE worldwide Honduras volunteers, we launched into a phenomenon that none of us anticipated or predicted! Since then, we have been conducting biannual CSB's in both Honduras [January /July] and Guatemala [February/August].

Through the efforts of compassionate volunteers, HOPE worldwide aims to provide outpatient medical and dental care and educational opportunities for our church families and their neighbors living in desperately poor communities outside of the United States. As a faith-based program, the Community Service Brigades were born out of the Christian conviction that we can and must do a better job of reaching out to those in need in our family of churches and the community at large in Latin America. Our Brigade teams enjoy times of prayer and fellowship together as well as an opportunity to attend Sunday worship services. 

Since 2010, teams of volunteers have delivered critical medical, dental and educational services to families living below the poverty line in some of the world’s poorest communities thanks to the contributions of generous donors and dedicated volunteers.
