Hope Worldwide. Bringing Hope. Changing Lives.

Nepal 2 Volunteer Corps

(December 17 - December 30) - FULL

What?

Two weeks “on top of the world,” serving the HOPEww school and vocational training center in

Week 1 and the new Center of HOPE in Chhaimale in Week 2, a program started in a village two hours outside of Kathmandu after the 2015 earthquake. You will teach elementary school children, help renovate and beautify the Kathmandu school and the Chhaimale Center of HOPE, run computer classes for young people, reach out to the community, teach health and hygiene lessons, and train the villagers in the use of water filters. All while spending Christmas and New Year with the community and the Kathmandu Church!

This will be our 13th Volunteer Corps in one of our most sustainable programs around the world.

HOPEww has worked in Kathmandu for 28 years, and several teachers at the school are former students themselves! You will learn a lot from this amazing program and from the local culture.
