Hope Worldwide. Bringing Hope. Changing Lives.

Philadelphia Volunteer Corps

(July 12-19)

Looking to make a big impact in just one week?  We're excited to announce our second Philadelphia HVC!

As a participant, you will mentor youth from Philadelphia for a week at Camp Hope for Kids, providing them with a safe, fun environment to conquer challenges like climbing the rock wall, building character on the basketball court, and offering encouragement and guidance. You will also visit North Philadelphia, home of Saturday Camp Miracles, to gain insight into the lives of those you will be mentoring. Throughout the week, you will connect with others from the American Commonwealth Region (ACR) family of sister churches, as R Camp will be happening alongside Camp Miracles. R Camp is a program of Camp Hope for Kids that offers 3rd to 8th graders a chance to explore nature, engage in sports and creative activities, and learn spiritual, emotional, and character-building values.

If you're a family with children in 3rd to 8th grade, this could be a great opportunity! Your kids can register for R Camp, while you serve with Camp Miracles and take part in HVC.

Everyone is welcome to apply, and we especially encourage Philadelphia HOPE Youth Corps alumni to return! For more information regarding R Camp, please visit www.hopeforkids.org.
