Southwestern Chapter

Welcome to the Southwestern Chapter of HOPE worldwide! 

We are dedicated to bringing hope and support to the communities of El Paso, Las Cruces, and the surrounding areas. Our mission is made possible by the unwavering love and commitment of our incredible volunteers. 

As a chapter, we are passionate about serving in meaningful ways. Each year, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through impactful projects such as assembling blessing bags for those in need, hosting a Sunday Supper for our neighbors, and enhancing our communities through neighborhood cleanups. 

In April, we proudly host SATURDAY SPARK Academy, a program designed to empower elementary and middle school children from underserved communities. Through a partnership with Whitaker Elementary School, this initiative fosters resilience through healing arts programs, helping children build confidence and creativity. 

During the holiday season, we also had the privilege of bringing joy to families by contributing to their school Christmas toy drives. Additionally, we offer ongoing opportunities to serve in soup kitchens each month. Recently, we have expanded our outreach by collaborating with another local nonprofit to support homeless and migrant shelters, providing essential items through blanket drives and blessing bag distributions. 

We see the importance of sustainable programs. Our hope is to strengthen the existing ones we have going, but we are also eager to seek new ways to uplift our communities with compassion.
