Tell us about the impact that volunteering has had on your life or the lives of others. You can talk about your own meaningful experience, the experience of a friend, or the experience of someone that you helped on a service learning trip. The more fun and creative the better!

STEP 1: Follow Us

Follow @hope_worldwide on Instagram, AND @hope.worldwide on TikTok, and tag two friends in the comments on our IG announcement post. 

STEP 2: Record Yourself

Record a testimonial discussing the positive impact that participating in service activities, like the HOPEww Volunteer Corps, has had on your life or the lives of others. You can share your own personal experiences, the experience of a friend, or stories of individuals you've assisted during a service-learning trip or other volunteer experience. Feel free to infuse creativity and fun into your recording!


STEP 3: Submit Your Post

Post your video on TikTok OR Instagram AND tag us to submit your entry. Without a tag, we won’t receive a notification. (TikTok:  @hope.worldwide / Instagram: @hope_worldwide)


STEP 4: Share Your Video

Share the links with your family and friends and tell them to LIKE, COMMENT, and SHARE your video entry.


STEP 5: Winner Announced

All video submissions will be judged on various factors, including the number of views, delivery, and other criteria. If you decide to post your video on BOTH TikTok and Instagram, we will tally the combined likes and shares from both platforms. Stay tuned for the announcement of the $1000 scholarship winner, which will be revealed Giving Tuesday, November 28, on our social media channels.


Why Your Help Is So Important:

On Giving Tuesday, we raise funds for HVC scholarships, so we can send more young leaders from around the world on HOPEww Volunteer Corps trips. Participants receive life changing opportunities for training in respectful service, and demonstrating the heart of God for those in need.


Every year a majority of the scholarships are received by individuals in Africa, Asia, Latin America and beyond. Without this scholarship, these young people may have limited opportunities to participate in these valuable service learning trips. We love investing in these next-gen servant leaders from around the globe.

Contest Rules:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Eligibility: The HOPE worldwide Scholarship Contest (the "Contest") is open to those aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of HOPE worldwide, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. Contest Period: The Contest begins on November 17, 2023 and ends on November 28, 2023 ("Contest Period"). Entries received outside of the Contest Period will be void. How to Enter: To enter, participants must follow the HOPE worldwide Instagram and/or TikTok account, and submit a video according to the instructions above. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Prize: One (1) winner will receive a $1000 scholarship credit towards a service-learning program of their choice. The prize is non-transferable and must be used within two years from the date of award. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period based on the criteria listed above. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Notification: The winner will be notified via email within one week of the decision date. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 2 weeks, an alternate winner may be selected. Publicity: By entering the Contest, participants agree to allow HOPE worldwide to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without compensation, unless prohibited by law. General Conditions: HOPE worldwide reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any fraud or technical failure impairs the integrity of the Contest. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of HOPE worldwide. Limitation of Liability: HOPE worldwide is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical problems or malfunctions. Release: By participating, entrants release and agree to hold HOPE worldwide harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or receipt or use of the prize.
