HOPEww Responding to Hurricane Ida

HOPE worldwide • September 3, 2021

UPDATE 9.17.21

HOPE worldwide’s Global Disaster Response team along with volunteers from the Gulf Coast, Houston and North River Chapters of HOPE worldwide, The New Orleans Church, and The Bridge Church in Baton Rouge have been serving in New Orleans the last two weekends.

Volunteers have helped clean up debris for homes in the affected areas. Generators and Air conditioners were also provided to families who lost power.

Several of our brothers and sisters and their families suffered damage from the storm. One family with two small children had 4 feet of water flood the entire house. Our volunteer team helped clear the home of all furniture and personal belongings to prepare the house to be dried out and rebuilt.

“Thank you for being inspired by our father God to come out here to us and to show us so much love.” Jaquelyn Hanes

We are so thankful for the many prayers, support and donations. Thank you for supporting people during this time of need. Together we can inspire greater hope.
