Les Irois:
The six homes that were left to be rebuilt were completed at the end of last month. In February of 2018, Charles Ham, Ian Correa, and I (Chantal Cornely) were able to visit these homes as they were being built and speak to the beneficiaries. During that visit, they all expressed such thanks for HOPEww and for the help that they were receiving. At the completion of their homes, they let Margarette who is the project manager in Haiti and Martine Philogene who is the contractor in charge of building the homes know how grateful they are for their new homes and thank God for HOPEww and Hww Haiti.
Les Cayes:
There are three homes left to be built on a parcel of land that was purchased last December for threebeneficiariesand their families who live in very vulnerable situations. One house was reported as being completed but, needs some finishing work on the inside. The family is able to live in the house. When the work begins in Les Cayes the work on this home will be the priority. Although the work in Les Cayes has not yet begun, we believe that the homes will be completed before the term of the Grant Agreement.
Thanks to all for their generosity and hearts to give.
