Volunteers needed for Hurricane Florence

Volunteering in North and South Carolina for Hurricane Florence Response with HOPE worldwide

The HOPE worldwide Disaster Response Team met with hurricane affected areas and was able to connect with local church leaders and HOPEww chapter leaders. We are grateful to begin our service opportunities in partnership with these local churches and also the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Team. The Church of Christ Disaster Relief Team who will provide housing and meals for the volunteers.

HOPE worldwide will be calling for an initial group of 40 volunteers to travel to Wilmington to assist in recovery efforts.


The dates of the trip are October 10-14 and we are asking that people who come stay for the entire duration of the trip.

      October 10       Travel on your own to Wilmington by 8pm

      October 11-13 WORK HARD - Removing debris, cleaning houses, flood mitigation, etc.

October 14      WORSHIP with the Greater Wilmington Church and travel home.


Space is limited to 40 on this first trip because of limited housing availability. Also we would like all of these initial volunteers to be over 18. We send you more detailed information once you have been accepted to the volunteer trip.
